Description

In the heart of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, sattu has always been more than just an ingredient - it has been survival food, farmer’s fuel, and maa’s answer to ‘bhookh lagi hai.’ Rolled into laddoos with ghee and khaand, it became the kind of snack that travelled everywhere - from farm fields to train journeys, from tiffins to dabbas at home.

Hearty, nutty, and deeply satisfying, sattu laddoo was never just about taste - it was nourishment wrapped in sweetness. A couple of these could keep you full for hours, which is why maa always tucked them into your bag before long trips.

At The 1970 Shop, we make sattu laddoos the way they were always meant to be - slow roasted, bound with pure ghee, and rolled with care. No palm oil, no preservatives, just clean ingredients and a tradition that has stood the test of time.

Because Sattu Laddoo isn’t just a sweet - it’s the taste of maa’s concern, the strength of simple food, and the comfort of knowing that some bites can truly keep you going.
