Welcome to The 1970 Shop - where snacks come with a side of memory!

Somewhere between Maa ke haathon ke laddoo and the sound of the evening news on Doordarshan… lives our story.

The 1970 Shop isn’t just a snack brand. It’s a time machine in a tin box.

We started this journey with one goal: to bring back the flavours of Indian homes from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s-when snacks weren’t “quick bites,” they were weekend rituals. When everything was handmade, sun-dried, home-roasted, and dadi-approved.

From our crispy mathris to ghee-laden laddoos, everything here is made just the way it used to be: in small batches, with big love, and no funny business (read: no preservatives, no additives, no weird stuff you can’t pronounce).

Our packaging may be pretty, but it hides a secret-open any of our boxes and you’ll smell Sunday mornings, school tiffins, and Nani ke haath ka khaana.

Because we believe food isn’t just for eating. It’s for remembering.

From our family kitchen to your doorstep,

P.S. Don’t blame us if you end up hiding these snacks like your mom used to hide aam papad.
