Atta Pinni (Desi Ghee)

In North Indian homes, winters always began with the slow roasting of atta in ghee - the aroma filling the house, signalling that pinni season had begun. These wholesome, melt-in-the-mouth laddoos were more than just sweets; they were maa’s way of keeping the family strong through the cold. Packed in steel dabbas, shared with neighbours, and carried to relatives’ homes, atta pinnis were as much a ritual as they were a treat.

Each pinni is crafted patiently - whole wheat flour roasted till golden, blended with desi ghee, khaand, and nuts, then shaped lovingly into laddoos. The result is a sweet that’s rich, hearty, and full of warmth in every bite.
