Description

Hot parathas on a winter morning, simple dal chawal on a summer afternoon, or poori sabzi on a Sunday - all of them had one common companion sitting on the side of the plate: nimbu ka achaar. Just a spoonful was enough to make every bite come alive.

The memory of pickle jars lined up on the terrace, lemons soaking in the sun, maa reminding everyone not to touch them too soon - that’s what gave nimbu achaar its magic. Spicy, tangy, and full of warmth, it was never just a condiment, it was a story of patience and care bottled up for the whole year.

At The 1970 Shop, we hold on to that ritual - hand-cut lemons, slow curing, pure spices, and no preservatives.

Because Nimbu ka Achaar isn’t just a pickle - it’s the spark of every thali, the taste of home kitchens, and the tang that turned the simplest meals into memories.
